Any changes to the site or the rules will be posted here with links to what you should check out. Any progress in site plots will be posted here as well. You should check back here whenever you spot the lovely 'new post' icon, just in case, because chances are it's something important.

Questions, comments and concerns!
If you are confused by anything on Hysteria, this should your first stop. All questions can be posted here, so you can check to see if someone else has already asked the same question or get an answer yourself. An FAQ will be made if needed. Any comments, suggestions, or worries about the site may also be posted here. This board is guest friendly.

Accepted applications!
All accepted application forms will be moved to the appropriate sub-board so that they may be referenced later. Characters in these boards are not to be edited without permission. You may keep a record of new history points and growths in personality in a record post in the listings board. If you feel it is necessary to have this information on the application form, please contact a staff member so that they may review the changes you wish to make and approve them.

Birthing!
If your character and another player's character wish to have offspring, please fill out the form found within so that a staff member may inform you of how many offspring are born, along with any major health issues. There is room for you to request these sorts of things within the form, and we will try to stick to your requests while remaining realistic.

Character records!
If you have multiple characters, you may come here to store all the pertinent information in a single thread so that no one has to dig through applications in the accepted board to check something. Please do not post more than one thread for all your characters unless you have purchased a sub-board in which to store your characters.

Church and graveyard!
The gravestones are old and weathered, just like the church, but the graveyard has not been overwhelmed, despite the number of deaths. Anyone who may have died due to the virus was cremated, after all, in order to ensure the destruction of the virus. Still, many come here to mourn their losses, regardless. It is, however, a safe haven at night.

Hospital!
Saving Grace was the main hospital in the area. The halls and rooms are a mess due to the outbreak that no one could keep up with, and there are hazards everywhere. The only room still in working order is the lab in the basement, where researchers still toil away at figuring out all the secrets behind the virus. They rarely venture out beyond returning to the hotel for rest and food, so it is actually quite safe to move around the hotel at night or in the middle of the day.

Underground tunnels!
The trains have stopped working and most are filled with skeletons while blocking the tunnels. However, some tunnels are thin enough that the humans can't squeeze past, and they are often dark enough to provide a decent hiding spot if you're desperate. Most humans won't even come down, too afraid that the virus lingers in the air and that they'll contract it.

Glacial lake!
One of the safest sources of water in the region is the Basin; a clear, cool glacier lake hidden away and never discovered by humans. It's a fair ways down the mountain, and the river that flows into it is just as crystal clear. Some of the edges drop in sharply, but most are gradual declines in to the center of the lake.

Lush forest!
Filled with a mix of coniferous and deciduous trees, the Briar is anything but safe. Particularly daring humans - often those who have watched their loved ones suffer and sworn revenge - have set up small shelters in the trees for hunting purposes. The forest is eerily silent as a result, more often considered a graveyard than a safe haven.

Dark caves!
Mostly a matter of alcoves and such, there are some caves that dip back farther into a series of tunnels underneath the foothills. There's precious little space, so if you're claustrophobic it might be best to stay away, but it's safe enough as the humans almost never come here. Just ignore the spiders and bats and you should survive - unless there's a cave in of course.

If there isn't a board available that suits your needs, then chances are what you're looking to post belongs here. You're welcome to post games, rant about life, show off your own little critters - whatever you want!

Use this board to show off all your beautiful art, from photography to graphic design. If you're a writer and would like to share stories or poems, you're welcome to do that as well. If you would like to request graphics, you may also do that here. Gallery sub-boards in which to display your work or to open as shops for requests may be purchased through the site

Please be sure to check and make sure you are posting in the correct sub-board and that you are following our posted rules.
