COAT Night black but in the right light her fur shines a deep purple, only her tail tip and ear tips seem to shine a dark blue.
OVERALL Amethyst is the spitting image of her mother, ebony black fur and all. The only difference between is where Verdana had deep green eyes, Amethyst has extremely pale almost white eyes caused by the disease; she also has purple and blue tint in her fur that only shows when the sun shows on it at the right angle. Her fur has purple tint all over it except at her tail tip and ear tips where it has a blue tint.
Amethysts even is the same size as her mother, she is very tiny, only being the size of a half-grown feline. She is very lean and obviously built for speed over strength.

TRAITS To the casual observer this kitty would seem quite hyper. She's always bouncing from place to place and speaking as though she is singing. She enjoys getting others to laugh and sometimes makes herself look silly in the process, but don't be fooled. Amethyst actual has a good head on her shoulds albeit it's usually used to think up new ideas for getting others to have a good time. Along with being a bit of a clown she is also a people... er-animal person. She loves being in the company of others as being alone makes her feel lonely... and a little unsafe...
Amethyst has a slight fear to being alone as she fears her father coming to get her. After all, if there are other animals around it's that much harder to be caught unawares or be killed without someone stepping in for her defense.
Also beneath her hyper exterior lies a cat that is completely insecure... Her hyper and happy act is simply that, an act. Truly she completely lacks self-confidence and only gets others to laugh so that she knows for sure that they are laughing with her and not at her. For if someone would point blank make it obvious that they're not laughing at her jokes but at her then they'll send this poor feline scurrying for cover while fighting back tears.

IMPORTANT FIGURES
STORY To tell the story of Amethyst we must first know a little about her parents. Verdana, her mother, was a house cat that lived with an elderly woman while her father, Oldaib was a street cat. A hardended tom that valued strength and power above everything... even his family.
The two met because Verdana's owner died of the illness that seemed to be affecting the humans and after that she had no one to care for her, especially after domesticated animals were deemed the cause of the illness. Oldaib was infatuated with the she-cat and took pity on her so he cared for the she-cat with devoted attention... Until she became pregnant, whereupon he began to change. Oldaib became abusive and though she was fearful for her kits, Verdana thought it best to stay with the tom because he new how to keep her safe. Besides, Verdana figured it was just a phase and would pass...
When the kits were born Oldaib's behavior improved but the improvement was only temporary for when the kits were old enough to learn fighting techniques he took them away to train. He would train them for extended periods of time... All except for young Amethyst who deemed worthless for the task since from a very young age it was obvious that she would hardly grow at all. Oldaib's contempt of the kit rubbed off on Amethyst's siblings and they teased and bullied her. Rubbing it in that they were worthy enough to learn to fight while she had to sit at home with Verdana. However, this was for the best as Verdana taught her sweet child about many things and how to ultimately take care of herself and find food (a few skills that she had picked up from Oldaib). One day, Oldaib took his kits away to train Verdana sent Amethyst away and told her not to come back. She could sense something strange about Oldaib and wanted to get her kindest child away... It was good that she did for Oldaib's training session was too rough that day and he killed one of the kits and left the other too weak to crawl away back home. Oldaib blamed his tiny mate for his weak kits and his punishment for weakness was death...
Wanting to know what had happened to her family, Amethyst crept back to find Verdana and her brother dead while her father and sister were missing. Not wanting to meet back up with her father she crept away, hoping to never see the tom again...
