OVERALL One's first impression of Kage may be something along the lines of handsome, and they'd certainly be correct. With a long, square muzzle and stocky head, his face is not his only attractive feature. With powerful muscles sewn onto his broad-shouldered frame, he was - and perhaps still is - regarded as one of the strongest. He stands at roughly three feet tall and weighs 34 kilograms. A long, ragged scar stretches across his entire flank from an event he'd only tell those he trusts with his life. His powerful frame is covered with pure ebony fur, a rare sight indeed for most.

TRAITS Kage resembles a canine reincarnation of Robin Hood, stealing from the greedy to benefit the unfortunate. Though he, himself, is considered a criminal of sorts, he detests murder and acts of evil, especially against those who are unable to defend or fight for themselves. He is a skilled fighter, learning from his mistakes until he conquers those he sees unjust. Cheeky and optimistic, he loves children of all species, despite not always being a perfect rolemodel, and attempts to join them in rambunctious games and dares. He is surprisingly cunning, sneaking away from his family to trick the most sharp-witted of animals, though he does not show this trait unless it is needed for any goals he yearns to achieve. Kage is somewhat flirtatious, often found offering women colourful flowers or compliments. He is not always serious, however, and does not care whether the female ignores him or not. There will come a time he is truly love-struck, and will try everything to let the woman know how he feels. He thrives on company, and often surrounds himself with good friends and family, though he does not seem to see a difference between the two. He is extremely courageous, leading perilous adventures into the heart of enemy territories, and determined to fight until he has achieved what he had come for.

STORYKage was born into a world of chaos, where is family and friends were hunted every day like vermin. His family, however, were renowned for their ability to avoid the bullets and traps the humans deployed for them, and were known somewhat as 'royalty', the Kings and Queens of the human territory. Kage quickly learnt the tricks of the trade, picking out poisoned food from the edible treats from trash cans, how to effectively dodge bullets, and how to tell whether the humans were about to search for any infected animals. As Kage matured into a frisky young male, he elaborated on his family's skills, and learnt how to judge whether a house was vacant or not, how to slip into an empty house with a minium level of noise, how to steal fresh food from right under the human's noses, and how to hide amongst the furniture when a human returned to its abode when he had yet to escape. Very soon, he had gathered a loyal band of followers who aided him in such raids, and eventually they began to feed not only themselves, but those who had no success in locating food.
His first birthday had not gone according to plan. Kage had returned from a large raid with several other canines from his trusty crew, when he discovered he had not been as stealthy as he had thought. A trio of humans had burst through the undergrowth of their hidden forest shelter and had begun to shoot blindly. Kage had yelled an order to flee - he had only slowed at the edge of the receding treeline and discovered no one had followed. The stench of death filled the forest quickly, and the loud crunch of twigs under the humans' heavy feet forced him away.
