Sinister looked around, molten pale honey gold eyes scanning his surroundings thoroughly before shrugging and padding onwards, his gaze filled with mischievousness, his stature proud, tail held high. He looked around once more, and then began making his way down the mountainside to the basin below. The closest safest way down was a ways away, so, natural dare-devil, adrenaline junkie he was, he was taking a more dangerous route. He loved near death experiences, and this one at the current moment was giving him an adrenaline high. Nonetheless he was still careful as he made his way down, the dizzying height making him grin widely, tail wagging, disturbing some rocks on the slope behind him, sending them rolling ahead of him. After that he kept his tail still. He shook his head slightly, making it to the bottom easily, his tail wagging once more as he padded closer to the water, letting the icy waves lap and nip at his forepaws. After all, he didn’t plan on going for anything remotely like a swim, regardless of his thick, winter fur. The Northern Inuit Dog shook out his aforementioned fur, darkly masked features giving him a fierce, don’t-bother-me look as he lowered his regal head, lapping at the icy waters slowly, so as not to go into shock from the temperature. But the time taken was worth it. The water was cool, crisp, and best of all, clean. Sin growled happily and backed from the water’s edge far enough that as he stretched out on his abdomen the water didn’t reach his paws any longer. Words: 264 Notes: Sorry for the crappy starter. I promise I will do better. Muse: Tune: [/div]

Kage padded along the mountain's steep track, expecting to discover some other means to entertain himself other than watching the silvery wisps of clouds drift across the sky lethargically. The clatter of disturbed pebbles rolling down the moutainside distracted him from his journey, and he halted to watch a fellow canine trekking down the dangerous slope, disregarding the safer route for an adventure down the side of the moutain.
A large grin split his obsidian muzzle, revealing pristine ivories as he watched the male's successful journey come to an end, Now he is a courageous dog.
The ebony sire picked his way down the slope, barely managed to catch himself as part of the mountainside he had thought was solid footing began to crumble underneath his weight, and continued until he was able to skid down the last few metres to stand a fair distance away from the stranger. By no means had he wanted to copy the male; it had been something to focus on, besides the clouds far above, and Kage yearned for something else of interest.
"Daredevil, huh?" The bandit spoke. "Haven't seen many others 'round these parts recently." |

Sinister looked out over the Glacial Lake, appreciation of the natural depression within the earth on his darkly handsome features. He shrugged lightly and stood, stretching lithely, yawning and flashing his slightly yellowed canines, molten gaze landing on the form of another canine. A brute. What appeared to be a German Shepherd dog if he was correct, which he figured he was since he had seen and interacted with many different breed of dog in his travels as part of the circus. He grinned, the gesture more mischievous than anything as he watched him grin. Sin turned his head as he skidded down the mountainside after him, not far from him as he came to a stop. "Daredevil, huh?" He said, "Haven't seen many others 'round these parts recently." And the Northern Inuit Dog grinned widely. ”Now that’s not surprising at all. And yes, I do happen to be a one of a kind daredevil.” The older male said with a flourish as he dropped a bow with practiced ease. “The name’s Sinister, but you can call me Sin. To whom do I have the pleasure of happening upon?” He said easily, tail swishing a bit as he watched the other male curiously, shaking out his thick fur. The ebony sire's scarlet gaze drifted towards the glacial lake, watching the wind skim across the cool water. The scene was rather beautiful, though this whole new land had proved to be magical in appearance. The male - a Southern Inuit Dog, he realised, as he recognised the breed from one of his former brothers - then answered his statement, and caught his attention once more.
”Now that’s not surprising at all. And yes, I do happen to be a one of a kind daredevil.” He grinned and replied, "Always a pleasure to meet a fellow daredevil."
Kage watched as he dropped into a bow and enquired, “The name’s Sinister, but you can call me Sin. To whom do I have the pleasure of happening upon?”
"The name's Akuma. Kage Akuma," |
Kage answered mischeviously. "But you can just call me Kage." Surveying his surroundings, Kage flicked an ear, listening to the cheerful song of a bird roosted in one of the nearby trees. Sinister grinned as the wind skimmed across the water, brushing over the Northern Inuit Dog as he sat, looking out over the lake. He figured it was nice here, but during winter no doubt it got colder than anywhere else. Most likely the water froze over too. He wondered how far down the ice got over the course of the cold months. After all, seeing as it was already cold, it would only take lowering a few degrees to really be cold enough to freeze over, and then after that it all depended on how long it stayed that cold. The other canine grinned as he spoke, "Always a pleasure to meet a fellow daredevil." The male watched him, and Sin grinned at his words. ”It certainly is.” He said with a chuckle. "The name's Akuma. Kage Akuma," Kage answered mischievously, "But you can just call me Kage." Sinister grinned widely. ”It’s nice to meet you, Kage.” The brute said with a grin. He watched the other male as he surveyed their surroundings, flicking an ear. "Know any other daredevils?" Kage asked and Sin grinned, shaking his head. ”Can’t say I do. I haven’t been around here long.”Words: 198 Notes: Muse: Tune: [/div]

Kage's jowls parted in a leisurely yawn and absentmindedly tasted the air, noting the scent of a nearby squirrel and resisted the urge to leap to his paws and chase it. The gentle breeze was icy against his form, and he shook his sturdy figure as if it would shake the cold away.
”It’s nice to meet you, Kage.” He offered a devilish grin in response, and a quick comment of, "Right back at you, mate." Sinister continued to answer his previous question, ”Can’t say I do. I haven’t been around here long.” The ebony sire gave a low hum in reply.
"So, how long have you been here, then?" He enquired casually.

"Speech."Sinister smiled faintly as Kage gave a leisurely yawn, the gentle breeze icy against his own form. Though he was better protected than the German Shepherd beside him, noting this as the male shook his sturdy figure. The black male gave a devilish grin in response along with a quick remark of, "Right back at you, mate." He shook his head lightly, chuckling, and continued. His answer was given a response of a low hum from the ebony furred brute, before he gave a casual inquiry. "So, how long have you been here, then?" Sin shook his head lightly before gathering his thoughts to speak. ”A while.” He said carefully, not feeling in the mood to play Russian Roulette with his past at the moment. Kage noticed the hesitance of Sinister's reply, "A while." He would continue as though he had not noticed; he himself had memories he would prefer to bury, and he would not dig into another's scarred past.
For one long moment, the ebony sire sat silently, listening to the tranquil trill of the birds and the gentle lap of the icy water against the bank. Boredom and restlessness pulled at his limbs, and the sable male surveyed his surroundings with mild curiosity. Soon he would be off, resuming his search for food. Until then, however, he would enjoy his conversation with the Inuit Dog.
"Anything fun to do 'round here?" Kage enquired casually. "I haven't come across anything interesting lately."

"Speech."Sinister would not admit this, but he was grateful that the ebony furred male did not dig further into his rather hesitant and short reply. He wouldn’t have explained further anyhow, but when pressured, well, the Northern Inuit Male tended to get a little….angry, to say the least. He watched the brute out of the corner of his eye, not minding the silence one bit, and even appreciating the fact that this Kage could go so long without speaking. The brute shook out his thick fur, rolling his shoulders and cracking his neck once, twice. In truth he wouldn’t mind a bit of excitement, but then, the adrenaline junkie in him always wanted excitement, and death defying fun. "Anything fun to do 'round here?" The German Shepherd asked, "I haven't come across anything interesting lately." And Sin tilted his head to the side slightly, thinking. ”Not that I know of, but I’m sure if one were to look around, they’d find something, and if nothing is found, then one can make their own fun.” The male said with mischief dancing in his molten gaze. Kage's right ear flicked as a twig in the undergrowth nearby cracked under a weight it was unable to hold. The scent of a young squirrel assured the good-hearted bandit that it was not anything to concern himself with, besides the prospect of a decent lunch when he left.
The ebony thief watched the Northern Inuit as his head cocked with contemplation, pondering his answer. ”Not that I know of, but I’m sure if one were to look around, they’d find something, and if nothing is found, then one can make their own fun.” He had then replied, and the German Sheperd offered a devious grin in response to the mischief dancing behind Sinister's gaze.
"Sounds like great fun," Kage replied merrily. "I'll call you if I find anything of interest, then. |

"Speech."Sinister heard a twig crack in the undergrowth nearby, and he tensed subtly, not even relaxing when it turned out only to be a young squirrel. He hated this sense of unknowing. How he never knew what might be watching him, eying him up from within the shelter of its hideout. The male secretly wished he had a home once more, with humans watching out for him, keeping any annoyances off. But then, either way he’d be alone, without a mate, so he shrugged inwardly and forced himself to relax, meeting the odd gaze of the ebony furred male beside him. Seeing the devious grin in response to his own words, and the mischievous glint in his molten gaze, Sin smiled inwardly, tail shifting vaguely against the ground. So he had found a kindred soul. "Sounds like great fun," The German Shepherd replied merrily, and Sin smiled faintly. "I'll call you if I find anything of interest, then.” He said, and Sin chuckled, grinning. ”If you do find anything of interest it’ll most likely be me at the heart of it all, or on the sidelines.” He said with another chuckle. It was true, he always tended to be where the mischief and pranks were. Words: 205 Notes: Aw, I hope you get better. Muse: Tune: [/div]
